Customize effect of Bone Meal on Grass Blocks

Postby marcmagus » Mon Apr 06, 2015 6:46 pm

Similar to vanilla.seeds.addSeed/removeSeed, a way to add/remove plants from the list of flowers generated when using bone meal on a grass block.

Example:
: [Select all] [/] [] ()
// Add vanilla Allium to the flowers found when using bone meal on grass
minecraft.flowers.addFlower(<minecraft:red_flower:2>.weight(10));
// Don't make so much tall grass
minecraft.flowers.removeFlower(<minecraft:tallgrass>);
minecraft.flowers.addFlower(<minecraft:tallgrass>.weight(5));

Interesting suggestion, I'll look into it later.

Thanks! I was looking into it further and the first example I give might not exactly apply as, according to the wiki, the vanilla flowers are biome-dependent in whether they appear.

My current aim is to remove certain mod flowers from the list entirely for gating purposes, but it would also be really cool to be able to force mod flowers to work like vanilla flowers, add the vanilla flowers which currently only appear on worldgen to the tables for some biomes, or just tweak the results so certain flowers don't dominate the results.
